Two Names, One Nazar Bracelet — How the Engraving Works
This is the part most people ask about before they buy, so here it is in three steps.
-
1. Pick gold or silver
Both finishes are the same bracelet at the same price — one flat 16 cm band, adjustable, and the same universal size for men and women. Gold is 22 carat plating; silver is the steel's own polished colour.
-
2. Type the two names
There are two text fields, one for each side of the eye. Most people put their own name on one side and someone else's on the other. A date, a nickname or a single word works just as well — and leaving one side blank is fine if you only want one name.
-
3. Engraved, then shipped free
The lettering is laser-cut into the steel rather than printed on top, so it cannot rub off. Every order is made to order, packed in a gift box and shipped free anywhere in India — usually with you in 4 to 7 days.
Engraving is included in the price. There is no extra charge for either side.
Gold or Silver: The Only Decision You Actually Have to Make
Everything else about the two is identical — same band, same size, same engraving, same price. The last three rows are there to prove it.

Evil Eye & Nazar Bracelets — Questions People Ask
Which hand should I wear an evil eye bracelet on?
The most common custom is the left wrist — the receiving side, nearer the heart — and people who want it tied to what they do rather than what they feel tend to wear it on the right. Neither is a rule everybody agrees on. Practically: this band is adjustable and unisex, so it fits either wrist, and you should wear it on whichever one does not fight your watch.
How do you activate an evil eye bracelet?
Different households do different things — moonlight overnight, incense, a pinch of salt, or simply saying the name of the person it is for. We are not going to tell you a ritual is required, and we do not sell this as an activated object. If the practice matters in your family, do the one your family does. If it does not, put it on.
Is it safe to wear an evil eye bracelet?
Physically, yes. It is stainless steel — it does not rust, does not tarnish and does not leave a green mark, and it is listed as hypoallergenic, which is why it suits skin that reacts to costume metal. Culturally, a few traditions treat the eye motif as something you should be given rather than buy for yourself; most Indian households treat nazar pieces as entirely ordinary. There is nothing about the object that is unsafe.
What are the rules of wearing the evil eye?
There is no single agreed set. The customs you will hear most often are that you should not wear a cracked one, that you replace it when it breaks, and that it carries more meaning when it is a gift. The first two are about beaded bracelets — this one is a flat steel band, not a strung bead, so there is no thread to fray and no glass to crack.
Which bracelet is best for nazar?
Honestly, the one you will still be wearing in a year. Thread and glass-bead nazar bracelets are the traditional form and they are cheap, but they fray, snap and get replaced. A metal band does not. This one puts the eye and two engraved names on a single 2 mm steel band, which is why people tend to buy it once rather than repeatedly.
How do nazar bracelets work?
The belief is that the eye returns a harmful gaze to wherever it came from — that the amulet catches the attention that would otherwise land on the person wearing it. That belief is thousands of years old and spans Turkey, Greece, the Levant and most of South Asia. We will not claim our bracelet does any of that. What it does do is sit on your wrist with two names on it, every day, which is the part you can actually count on.
Which day should you wear a nazar bracelet?
Some families start on a Tuesday or a Saturday, some prefer a new moon, and plenty of people simply start on the day it arrives. There is no rule we would ask you to follow. If you are planning around a particular date, order with about a week in hand — it is made to order and usually delivered in 4 to 7 days.
Is the engraving included in the price?
Yes — both sides, at no extra cost. You get two text fields, one for the left of the eye and one for the right, and you preview them before paying. Two names, a name and a date, or a single name with the other side left blank: all the same price.
What size is it, and will it fit me?
One universal size — a 16 cm band, 4 mm wide and 2 mm thick — and it is adjustable, which is how the same piece works for men and women. One thing worth knowing from customers: it arrives as a flat band rather than a perfect circle, so on the first wear some people press it gently at the ends to shape it to their wrist. After that it holds.
Will the gold fade?
The silver has nothing to fade — that colour is the steel itself. The gold is 22 carat plating, and plating wears from friction and chemicals rather than from time, so how long it holds depends on how you treat it. Several customers here are on their second or third year of daily wear; one told us hers went dull after three years and she simply bought it again. Put it on after perfume, take it off before a swimming pool, and it lasts.
