This Privacy Policy explains how Etchcraft Emporium ("we", "us", "our")
collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the
Etchcraft Emporium mobile application and our website at
https://etchcraftemporium.in (together, the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree,
please do not use the Service.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

(a) Information you give us
- Profile and contact details: your name, email address, phone number,
  and shipping/billing address, provided when you set up a profile or
  place an order.
- Order details: the products you buy, personalisation text (such as
  names or words you ask us to engrave), and your order history.
- Astrology consultation details: if you book a Vedic consultation or
  reading, we collect the birth information you provide for that reading,
  which may include your date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth.
  You provide this only if you choose to use the consultation feature.
- Communications: messages you send us by email, WhatsApp, or chat, and
  the contents of those communications.

(b) Payment information
Payments are processed by our third-party payment providers through
Shopify's secure checkout. We do not collect or store your full card
number or card security details on our own systems.

(c) Information collected automatically
We collect limited technical information needed to operate the Service
securely and reliably, such as basic log data for security and fraud
prevention. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics tracking
software (such as Google Analytics, Firebase, or similar) in the app, and
we do not collect device identifiers for advertising purposes.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your information to:
- create and manage your profile;
- process, fulfil, and deliver your orders;
- provide astrology consultations and readings you request;
- provide customer support and respond to your messages;
- send you order and booking updates;
- send you offers and promotional messages, where you have not opted out;
- keep the Service secure and prevent fraud; and
- comply with our legal obligations.

3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service
providers who help us run the Service, and only as needed for them to
perform their work for us:
- Shopify, which powers our store and checkout;
- our shipping and order-tracking provider (Shiprocket) to deliver and
  track your orders;
- our astrology service provider, to generate the personalised reading
  you request from the birth details you provide;
- our cloud hosting and database providers, which store data on our behalf.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our
terms, to prevent fraud, or in connection with a business transfer.

4. ASTROLOGY AND BIRTH INFORMATION

Birth information is used only to generate the consultation or reading you
request. It is optional — it is collected only if you choose to book a
reading — and you can ask us to delete it at any time (see Section 6).

5. DATA RETENTION

We keep your personal information for as long as needed to provide the
Service and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. When it is no
longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.

6. YOUR RIGHTS AND HOW TO DELETE YOUR DATA

You can access, correct, or delete your personal information, or withdraw
consent for marketing, at any time.

To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us at
etchcraftemporium@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request",
from the email address or phone number you used with us. We process
deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by email once complete. We
may retain limited records (such as tax and invoice records) where the law
requires.

7. SECURITY

We use reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to
protect your information, and all data is encrypted in transit. No method
of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot
guarantee absolute security.

8. CHILDREN

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed to
children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The Service may link to other websites or services. We are not responsible
for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on
this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
