What Can Actually Be Engraved
Most people arrive thinking personalisation means a name, and it is worth knowing how much further it goes.
Photographs are etched line by line into the steel — a face, a pet, a signature in someone's own handwriting. Complete devotional texts fit on our Shakti Kadas: the full Hanuman Chalisa, the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra, the Ganesh Stotram, the Durga Chalisa, engraved around the band at a size you can still read. In everyday use, no. Both describe jewellery made specific to one person, and Indian shoppers use the two words interchangeably. If you want to be precise: personalisation usually means adding something of yours to an existing design, while customisation can extend to altering the design itself.
